IE 7 & current skin

IE 7 & current skin

It's really something. With IE7 many skins are not usable at all. This current too.

I assume you mean the current skin on this site? I'm posting this response using IE7 on XP and it looks and works as expected for me.

Oh no, excuse me for being unspecific.  I mean the huge gap in last blogpost  between screenshots and blog header. In Techmania I can't see setting icons and no text link provided.  IE7  +  WindowsServer2003SP2. You use this skins as default skins and therefore I guess it matters...

Usually, I use FF and not see the atrocities of the latest MS childbrain)))  I have written this as it's not a  good beginning from a start page. Nothing personal :-)

Hi Bob,

No offense taken, just trying to understand as I do not see this problem in my own testing. No, I did not connect your post with the recent blog post as it wasn't mentioned.

If I understand now, are you saying this problem happens when mojoPortal is served from windows or from Mono?

In my testing with IE7 using both XP and Win 2003 server techmania skin looks just fine when served from windows. I have not tested in IE using the Mono installation.

Are you sure its IE7 and not IE6 you are using?

Hi Joe,

I'm completly sure that I use the combination with .NET framework.

But I have some doubts about copy origin. If it looks fine in simalar cases so it's possibly my local problem.

Hi, Joe.

I think that you never saw the current  http://www.mojoportal.com skin looks terrible in Konqueror (Linux main browser). Blog on the front page looks really terrible.
