Problem overwriting files in one folder only after recent Azure install

We recently moved our site to Azure, and for the most part things have gone fine.  But one strange problem is that in one of our folders in File Manager we are no longer able to overwrite files or rename files. We can upload new files. Any idea what might be happening?

Re: Problem overwriting files in one folder only after recent Azure install

Hi Julie,

You should check the permissions on the "Data" folder. I'm not sure what kind of Azure setup you have so I can't really be more specific. If you can share some details about how you setup your site on Azure, we might be able to help more.

Thanks,
Joe

Joe,

This problem is only in one sub-folder so how could it be the data folder?

Re: Problem overwriting files in one folder only after recent Azure install

Hi Julie,

If you set the permissions on the Data folder and force them to propagate to its subfolders, you should fix the issue. You can also check the permissions of that subfolder.

Thanks,
Joe
