Re: Change Multi Tenancy from FolderNames to HostNames

Hi Ricky,

We should have a new release out next week with the SuperFlexi Folder Multi-Tenancy issue fixed. We have it running in production on two sites right now, we just need to finish some testing of other changes and then package everything up.

To change to Hostname Multi-Tenancy, set the following in your user.config and then touch your web.config:

<add key="UseFoldersInsteadOfHostnamesForMultipleSites" value="false" />

Once that is set, you can use the documentation here.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Change Multi Tenancy from FolderNames to HostNames

Hi Joe,

What a Great News..  honestly i am still new at mojoportal, it is a great product, let me know where to download the new release and if there is any update in Database, please let me know too.. :)

btw Joe, I follow your recommendation for the way to change to Hostname Multi-Tenancy, master site's work fine, but my child site's feature is reset to default (like a new website), should i create my child site's from the  beginning? because previously my child site already establish with full of feature.

Thanks and Regards,

Ricky S

Re: Change Multi Tenancy from FolderNames to HostNames

Hi Ricky,

It sounds like you created a new site when switching to host names. Go to Administration > Site List and see how many sites you have. If you have more than you are expecting, you'll want to sort out the hostnames properly.

Thanks,
Joe
