HEllo,
I am using Mojoportal 2.4.0.9, .NET 4.5, SQLServer, Windows Server 2008.
I added a blog and restricted the visibility to only Admins (since we would like to use it as an internal exchange platform). However I see when I tested the search, it never returns results for this blog (even though the text is in the main part of the blog article). 3 other blogs in the site work with the search. These are all publicly viewable, so I think it might be a visibility issue.
I also tried reindexing the search. Again, search works everywhere except in the admin blog. From reading some posts in the Forum, I see that the search should support the restricted visibility.
thanks in advance for any insights!
shelby
content locked down to only admins role is a special case and is not added to the search index at all.
you can use Content Administrators role or a custom role to protect content while still including it in the search index.
Hello,
thanks for your follow-up . I switched role to content administrator and the search works.
Regards,
