HTML Editor in features...

So, here's my latest challenge... 

I'm trying to use the built-in editors for my features, and I like the EditorControl used in the blog feature - except I want more toolbar items and can't seem to figure out how to modify the control... Is there documentation or a more complete example of how to do this?
