When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Upgrading Polls and Survey only

I have a what if for installation. What if you want to upgrade, but would only want to upgrade skins or new and approved features? For instance all you want to upgrade would be the polling feature or the survey and nothing else? Is that even possible? What are the pitfalls of doing this? How many places in the release would you find files for those features?

Hi Thomas,

You should always upgrade all installed features. The upgrade system is designed to upgrade your site to a known condition. If you try to do some kind of partial upgrade you are getting your site into an unknown condition that may have bugs and it will be more diificult to provide support for you.
