Event Calendar Pro - Cannot edit start/end times

mojoPortal 2.4.0.0, SQL, Dotnet 4
EventCalendarPro 3.4.1.5

 

When creating a new event, the drop down boxes for Start time and End Time is greyed out and not changeable.Then if you select "Whole Day" checkbox they of course stay disabled, but if you after this unchecks "Whole Day" they get enabled.

Seems like the initial state  for these dropdowns are for a whole day event even if this is not checked.

The default state of the "All Day" checkbox when initiating a new event is checked not unchecked, therefore the default state of the dropdowns is correct. It seems ok on our demo site.

Very strange.

On my local installation when I create a new event, the All Day checkbox is NOT set and the dropdowns for for start and end times are disabled.

I have not yet installed calendar pro on the external site. As I said, it is very strange if it behaves differently on one installation than on others.

(My calendar pro is configured as "clean" as possible with only month view and without rss and without integration with other calendars. I planned  to use the standard calendar instead just because it is simpler, but figured I could benefit from the possibility to do bookings for training camps and so on with the pro-version).

If it works on the demo site and all others, there is no problem. I will let you know when I have installed it on the public site.

maybe it happens with different localization settings but not en-US? Let me know if you find any other factors that are needed to make the problem happen, if I can reproduce it I will fix it.

Hi Mats,

I did some more looking into this and found how to produce the problem. If I just click the main link to add an event it works correctly, but if I start on day view and click an empty time slot to add an event it results in the checkbox is not checked and the dropdowns are disabled. As you say clicking the checkbox and unclicking it again enables the dropdown lists so it is a minor bug, but I will fix it now so it will be fixed in the next update of Event Calendar Pro.
