My colleagues have been going nuts, and now it's happened to me...

Edit or create a blog post, add some content in the editor (CKEditor), set a category or two, then click Save ... > empty post.

On inspecting in Fiddler, the POST has lost the changes. This section is totally empty:

(or if editing existing content, it contains the original instead of the changed content).

I'm using IE10, and in the same browser I can edit a post on https://demo.mojoportal.com/blog.aspx without any problems, with both set to use CKEditor. In Chrome, I can edit the same blog post without problems. But my colleagues report that they have lost edits using Chrome then found it worked in IE.  They are working in a different site, but it is part of the same mojoPortal instance, which is version 2.3.9.8 MSSQL. Any idea why CKEditor would throw away its contents, and how to cure this?

It seems to be something to do with browser caching, as it is posting back the content before the changes were made. I have managed to get IE to save changes once or twice by messing with the F12 cache settings, e.g. switching on "Always refresh from server" but it is not consistent.

We are having to copy and paste all content before saving, which is very frustrating. Any help appreciated.

Hi Joe - I made sure I could replicate the problem immediately before upgrading (finding this time that it was only on the second or subsequent edit of a blog post that the problem arose), then upgraded the site to 2.3.9.9 and tested again. It appears to have fixed it - my colleagues will be happy! Thanks.
