Form Wizard Pro 2.6.1.1 Setup or Packaging?

  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Form Wizard Pro 2.6.1.1 Setup or Packaging?

Hi Joe,

Any issues with FWP 2.6.1.1 packaging that you recently released?

Updated to MP 2.3.9.8 and FWP however during setup I noticed no configuration scripts was run, were for Calendar Pro.

Configuring feature Form Wizard Pro by Source Tree Solutions - 00:00:01.7784798
 

The feature schema version shown in System Information is reported as 2.6.1.0

Downloaded the package from your store a couple times and repeated the upload with no change. No obvious errors reported.

Environment: MP 2.3.9.8/SQL 2008R2/.NET 4/Full Trust

If you deployed all the files for Form Wizard Pro 2.6.1.1, it should have deployed the file:

/Setup/applications/sts-FormWizard/SchemaUpgradeScripts/mssql/2.6.1.1.config

​If that file exists the setup page will run it and it will update the Form Wizard feature version to 2.6.1.1

I would verify that the file exists in the package and in the installation. It does exist in my copy of the package. If it doe snot exist in yours I would download it again and double check.

However the file itself is empty, there were no database changes in that script, its only purpose was to increment the version for the new release which did have code changes.

Strange I just downloaded the package from the MP store again and there is no script 2.6.1.1 in the package the store is offering to me in that directory. I created an empty file and that corrected the feature version. Thanks Joe.

I've updated the package to include the missing empty script file, not sure how that happened.
