License Question

Hi,

I am new to Mojo portal and interested to use it for my client. My questions are:

1, Once I download source code, can I customize it and deploy unlimited websites with my custom features ?

2, Do I need to pay / or get any license for Mojo Portal ?

3, Is there a license, or subscription to  reuse all the functionalities in the source  code ?

Appreciate your help

Thanks

Toms

Re: License Question

See our page about the license. You do not need to modify mojoPortal code, you should develop custom features that plug into mojoPortal without modifying any mojoPortal code. If you redistribute mojoPortal in any form you must do so in compliance with the license, I cannot offer you any legal advice since I am not an attorney. My recommendation is don't fork mojoPortal, keep your custom code in your own separate projects.

Re: License Question

Thanks Joe,

Just wanted to make sure that I can redistribute dlls with my custom web application projects. For ex: I can Use Mojo's user registration or site search functionalities and I can have my own Silverlight features, or some grid using telerik controls.

No, I will never fork Mojo portal source code.

Thanks

Toms
