Hi,
I am setting blogs to be posted in advance using the start date setting. However it appears that there is a delay of exactly 1 day in posting the blog . i.e. if the date is set as 14 may 13:00 it will not show till 15 may 13:00.
I have tested this over a 5 hour period and it is consistent to being 1 day behind. Is this a general bug, something more specific to UK (i.e taking a US date and a UK time) or am I just using the toll incorrectly?
Any suggestions
Are you sure that you have your correct time zone selected in your user profile and that the server time is correct?
Are you saying it doesn't appear in the post list on schedule or detail view doesn't work or both?
Yes, though of these. User profile is GMT and site en-GB.
Currently I have a post in "unpublished blog posts" saying "Posted by Simon To Be Published 15 May 2013 15:57:00 " yet system and server time is 15 may 2013 21:10.
from loads of testing done It just seems to be exactly 24hrs out and as it is now the same date in UK as US my though of taking a US date setting is incorrect.
Strange !!!!!!
I will let yo know if / when I resolve this.
Joe,
Actually it was the server date. For some reason this was out by a day.
Cheers
