It could certainly be done but that kind of thing would be feature specific and require custom development. There is nothing that can make it magically happen for any random thing one is searching for.

The AjaxControlToolkit has a cascading dropdown that makes it easier to develop that kind of solution but it still would be a very specific thing developed for a very specific purpose.
