I need to consolidate 3 installations into 1 installation.  ie.  3 different databases, each with multiple sites.  I want to keep DB#1 and insert the data from DB#2 & DB#3 into DB#1.  I can obviously write sql scripts to do this but I wanted to check to see if you have done this in the past and had any problems or usable scripts.
