Page List and Add/Edit Pages Removed for Role Administrators

I have a user with the roles Content Publisher and Role Administrator. When I add Role Administrator, the user no longer has access to "Page List" on the admin bar or "Add/Edit Pages" on the Admin page.

I also tried removing Role Administrator and setting permissions so a Content Publisher can assign roles/create users, etc. However, when I remove Role Administrator from the user's roles, they have "Page List" in the admin bar, but no longer have a button for "Administration" to access the Member List, Role Administration or Add New User buttons. 

Is there a fix for this? I'm using mojoPortal  2.3.7.6.

I recommend upgrading to the latest version and see if the problem persists. There have been fixes to the role system since your current version.

Hi Danielle,

I was able to reproduce this problem. Basically the admin menu link is the same link as the page list link, but if the user is some kind of admin it points to the admin menu page. The problem is that the admin menu page is not currently showing the link for page tree unless the user is admin, content admin, or site editor.

I will fix this for the next release by adding a check for any create child page permissions and if the user has any we will show the link for page tree. There is a similar check on page tree already and the page actually does work correctly, its just that the link isn't shown on the admin menu as it should be.
