Hi Joe, I'm using the latest build from source as of this morning (although I think this has been in for awhile now). If you have LDAP authentication enabled, but Fallback to Database Authentication disabled, then the persistent authentication cookie setting is available to select, but is not saved (persistent auth is always disabled).
It seems to me that the persistent authentication option should be allowed always regardless of the LDAP status, but if you are trying to force that always to false in this particular case, maybe the checkbox should just be grayed out?
Thanks,
Jamie
