Audio & Video Player Files Not Found on Installation

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Audio & Video Player Files Not Found on Installation

Windows Server 2003
MySQL
Upgrade to 2.3.7.6

I received the following errors on upgrading. The remainder of the upgrade seems fine.

2011-12-29 23:11:37,419 ERROR XX.XXX.XXX.XX - en-US - /setup/default.aspx - mojoPortal.Web.ContentFeature - could not install feature AudioPlayerFeatureName. Invalid ControlSource Setting. Filenot found: ~/KDMediaPlayer/AudioPlayer.ascx

Hi Bob,

Oops you are right, the packages for .NET 3.5 were misisng some of the media player files. I've corrected it, if you download again you should be able to copy the KDMediaPlayer folder into the root of the site then visit the setup page again.
