Robots.txt

I noticed that pages not marked to show up in the sitemap do show up in the xml sitemap /sitemap.ashx.

Is this by design?

There are 2 settings one for the user site map, ie /SiteMap.aspx and one for the search engine site map, /SiteMap.ashx.

The setting to leave a page out of the search engine site map is under the Search Engine Optimization tab in Page Settings.
