Did you add the url to the feed, are you sure its a valid url, does it show content if you just view the feed url in the browser? Are there recent posts in the feed? I think by default it will only get posts within the last 30 days. It only works with RSS feeds, no Atom support at this time. If you post the actual urls you are using I can try and replicate the problem.
