Admin interface, a few things that Screen reader users should remember

This forum is primarily for reporting issues about Web Accessibility such as difficulty using mojoPortal with a screen reader or other assistive technology.

Post any feedback here related to improving the accessibility or usability of mojoPortal. As stated in our Accessibility documentation, it is an important goal of the project that both the front-end customer experience and the back end administration and content publishing features be accessible to as many people as possible. Ideally, if you post about problems, we will also be glad to have suggestions on how the problems can be fixed but all constructive feedback on these issues is welcome.

Admin interface, a few things that Screen reader users should remember

Hi guys,

From the management of my own site, I figured i'd report these little things to the community so that maybe the blind community will in turn see them. First and foremost is one thing: when changing site settings, some of the links are same-page links.  I have never been able to click on them by pressing the enter key alone.  JAWS users must right-click on the link and tell it to open in a new window unless you want to be sitting in the same place wondering what's going on.  And one more thing for now. System access users should not be using Mojo Portal's admin interface.  I tried it, and my experience was horrible.  This is no fault of anyone's but those at Serotek.  System Access focuses on the more common applications, and I guess in the minds of it's creators, ASP.net's not in that boat.  Sorry folks.  Well, till later.

Have a good holiday,

Katherine
