Hi,

I am experiencing extremely slow load times compared to other sites!

I am running in a hosted, shared server.

I have added the line in the User.config (<add key="UseAppKeepAlive" value="true" />) but it didn't change a thing! I have also deleted what seems to be unnecessary files and folders such as all the web site templates I only left the one I am using in the Skins & Site/1/Skins etc in an effort to lighten the load. This actually (removing skins) seems to have slowed it down if anything!

Is there anything else I can try?

I was going to answer that I have similar problem. My site is slow when I visit it the first time but after that it's quick. Strange. Then I followed your link and it feels quick and fluid.

Not sure what happened but the site is running much better now. Not sure which fix did the trick but one of your solutions did do it.

Thanks for all the pointers in the forum and documentation one of them did the trick.
