The super combo control is well desinged. I personally thank you.

But if we wrap the super combo with the update panel, after the asynchronous post back the drop down is not rendering any value. How ever, if we remove the update panel, the suber combo works as usual. Is this a know issue or is there any work around for this.

Actually, I am having the super combo in one of the tab, so I thought of going of ajax to retain the tab position after post back but super combo is not behaving as expected.

It´s a common problem that within an update panel you loose the event binding.

Super Combo´s are working within an update panel, you simply have to rebind all java events after a postback.

Best way is something like:

function load(){  
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(DoStuff);
}

function DoStuff(){

 

//Rebind your events here

}
