Hi,

I have a article/blog page were i would like to allow all authenticated users to be able to contribute. However I don’t want them to be able to edit articles created by other users. Is it possible? Is there a security setting for this?

Hi Peter,

See this thread where I answered a similar question. People keep asking for this ability to have multiple users use the same blog but only be able to edit their own posts, so when I get to working on the next round of blog improvements I may look into making it possible to do this. However, as stated in the other thread I still would not let just any authenticated user use the blog, that would be very dangerous, it is designed for trusted users.

Thanks Joe,

I understand that it could be dangerous but as a administrator I would make sure to monitor the post or let them to create drafts only.

My other option at this stage is to setup a "contact us" page where they could write some articles and simply send it which I would later post into articles page.
