No worries. Just trying to get an idea of which are the most important features we don't have yet.
I admit freely that there are certainly better forum packages out there, indeed, there are also better blog packages, better image gallerys, better feed aggregators, better ecommerce systems, etc and there likely will always be better ones. What mojoPortal has is integration across features in terms of security roles, design etc. While it is possible to cobble together sites using separate packages you never really get the level of integration that is possible with something where all the features are built on top of the same plumbing like in mojoPortal.
mojoPortal features will continue to evolve but it is impossible to keep up with every bell and whistle in systems that are only dedicated to one task like a forums package, so I try to figure out which are the most important bells and whistles to add during each cycle of improvement for a given mojoPortal feature to reduce the gap between our features and stand alone packages.
To me StackOverflow has set the bar of what an ideal forum is and what we should strive for over time.
Best,
Joe
