JQuery not working in new version(2.3.3.0)

JQuery not working in new version(2.3.3.0)

Hi,

I created a skin for mojo(2.2.7.9). in this version am using jquery its working fine for me.

now am using mojo(2.3.3.0). in this version, same skin am using but its not working(js files) now. is there any other way to register client script in this version ?

Errors are,

1) $ is not defined.
2) $(".news-btn").jCarouselLite is not a function.

Make sure you have this in the head section of layout.master file in your skin:

<portal:ScriptLoader id="ScriptLoader1" runat="server" />

The ScriptLoader will include the jquery and jquery ui scripts so you do not have to add them yourself. Since you upgrded from a very old version, you may want to look for other differences in the included skins under /Data/skins and compare to your skin to find new css or new things in layout.master.
