To use the multiple site feature of mojoPortal, you do not need to create multiple IIS sites. You need one IIS site with the urls for both sites in the bindings (IIS7) or the Host Header (IIS6). Follow the instructions below for creating the additional site in mojoPortal:

1. From within the first mojoPortal site, select Administration > Site Settings.
2. Change the dropdown next to the Site Title to New Site.
3. Replace the Site Title with a name for the new site.
4. Click the Save button.
5. Click the Host Name Mapping tab.
6. Enter the url for the new site and click the Add Host Name button.
7. Click the Features tab.
8. Select the features you want to use on the second site.
9. Click the Save button.

If your DNS and IIS settings are correct, the single mojoPortal installation will now serve both site.

If you are using Folder based multiple sites you do not need to do anything in IIS or DNS. What you must do is create the folder that will represent the second site. For example, if your second site is named CompanyBlogs and you want it to be accessed by browsing to http://yoursite.com/companyblogs, you need to create the companyblogs folder at the root of your site and put an empty file named default.aspx inside the folder.

Hi Dhanraj,

I explained how to do this in my first post. You need to add your domains and sub-domains to the host header list on the site that is running mojoPortal in IIS. You will have only one IIS website running mojoPortal in this scenario. For DNS, you should have the domains and sub-domains pointing to the same IP address as your currently running mojoPortal site.

Follow steps 1 through 9 in my first post to get mojoPortal setup for multiple sites.
