My Page error

Hi Joe,

Im encountering error when adding new page to My Page.

For example, I would like to add a sports page. After clicking add it says " We're sorry but we could not find the page you are looking for. Please try the Site Map." But when I click again the My Page link, the sports tab is already there. Am I missing something?

Also when I click the sports tab same error occurs.

Thank You

Tp

Re: My Page error

Hi,

What version of mojoPortal?

Can you reproduce the problem on demo.mojoportal.com?

Best,

Joe

Re: My Page error

Im still getting the same error. Already updgraded to the latest version. I tried changing my port with apache to 80 but it doesnt work.

I noticed that after saving, it redirects to me to this url  "http://localhost/mojo/mojo/MyPage.aspx". I think it has something to do with the path.

Im using a sub domain mojo. Is there any way I can modify the path with mypage? or I cannot use a sub domain folder to avoid conflicts.

Thank you very much!

Re: My Page error

I suspect it is some difference with apache vs IIS. You are running .NET on Windows with apache? Why not just use IIS?

MyPage is not supported on Mono/linux/apache because WebParts are not implemented in Mono.

I do not test mojoportal on windows with apache so I can't really offer support for that scenario. I recommend IIS.

Also make sure you have not enable multi site based on folders, it could cause that kind of redirect because folder based sites have to have the first site running as a root site not a sub folder like localhost/mojo

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: My Page error

Im using IIS by default. apache is disabled when running mojo since Im working on some php project.

What I did was to put the site on a root folder not on a sub domain and it works perfectly.

I also need the multi site based on folders since we're doing a microsite for this project. And its working also.

Thanks a lot joe =)
