Poll problem

Hy all,

I'm getting this message when I try to save my new poll:

"Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes..."

I cannot produce this error using the latest version and MS SQL.

If you are using a different database please let me know so I can test it.

Hi all,

I have version 2.3.3.6. I had a poll as a test and remove it and put another one. I set everything but it keeps on giving me "Currently no active poll." In the Choose Active Poll for Polls, i have the following

Choose Active Poll for Polls
Add new poll
How do you grade this new website?
1. Excellent, 0 votes
2. Good, 0 votes
3. Fair, 0 votes
4. Poor, 0 votes

Poll runs from 2/21/2010 to 2/23/2012
Edit poll

Is there something i miss? thanks for your asistance.

Hi Fisal,

Are you doing this on a page or from Content Manager? I recommend doing it from a page where the feature is shown instead of from content manager. It can be a private page protected by roles and then you can make the page visible to others or move the poll to a different page, but many features don't work very well when you try to edit them from Content Manager.

Hi Joe,

I was doing it from the page. I moved it to other pages. Remove all polls and redo it, but still the same. I do some comparision with my local copy (which works fine) and on the backend it looks the same. Any guidance on this?

Hi Fisal,

I want to help you, but it is difficult until I understand steps to produce the problem.

Can you try to produce the problem on demo.mojoportal.com?

If we can figure out the conditions under which this issue happens I will fix it quickly.

Hi Joe,

my fault. while i was adding into the Demo site, i realize something. I saw "make active", in my case due to the style sheet, make and copy were WHITE ON WHITE background. I will correct it.

Thanks a lot and i will use the demo for such simulation in the future.
