Help! 'Server Error' upon istallation

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Hi, Mr. Joe, would you mind checking on my web.config file? yruma-i.net/inyifile/webconfiginyi.doc to see if i did it right?the text in bold are those i edited.

Do you have access to the event logs on the web server you trying to run the site on?

What operating system is the web server?

Is .NET 3.5 installed on the WEB server?

Now that you have modifed the customErrors setting in your Web.Config, what errors are you seeing when try to access your site?

Hi, Thanks for all your help, I think this manual installation is really not my genre Cry so i just purchase another webserver at webhostforasp.net, the auto-installation helps and save my time.

btw, Mr. Joe, I salute you! never thought you were the developer of this wonderful CMS. Thanks. Im learning this piece of art at this moment.

Only thing is I doubt if the auto installed version is the latest version. As long as its running in .NET 3.5 SP1 you could upgrade over the version they installed.
