Well, i have just got a dumb idea: using virtual directories to save space and make quicker upgrades:
On my server, i have "many" (less than 10) mojoportal installations, and it's boring to manually updating them, or let them share the same resource icons/custom skins
So, i was thinking to make everything a virtual folder to a complete mojo folder, except for web.config (or, to make it easier, just to the subfolders)
Will it work?
I do not know if or how well that would work, maybe. Might be kind of dodgy updating all the sites at once given the need to run the setup page in each of them after the upgrade.
Best,
Joe
the update process touches only the database, or also the ~/Data folder?
Generally the setup pqage does just update the db, but there can be new folders created beneath /Data on some upgrades if they don't exist.
