Blog calendar bug?

I am moving some blog postings from our old site to a MP-based site. Using IE 8, when I click the arrow buttons on the date selector for the blog posting date, the behavior is totally screwed up. Buttons stay depressed. Clicking can result in jumps of months or years. Work-around: type the date.

Hi Gerry,

Wow, there is a bug there, I had never noticed it. The day selectors were working correctly only if you don't change the month with the month selector, after changing the month the date selectors behave unexpectedly. I just fixed it in my copy so it will be fixed in the next release.

Not sure what you mean by workaround is type the date unless you are using and older version of mojoPortal. In the latest version its all done in ajax so it doesn't change the url when you navigate with the calendar. In older versions of mojoPortal we did pass the date in the url.

Joe,

What I meant was instead of clicking the button and popping up the calendar, I simply typed the date into the text box.

Oh, you must be talking about the date picker in the edit post page not the calendar navigation. I'll look into that.

I see what you mean it generally works but after certain combinations of clicking various selectors it does get a little strange. Typing the date seems to restore it to sanity as does clicking the button again. I'm making a note of it for further investigation but I'm not going to put a lot of time into it right now because I have a lot of other things going on.
