Created a second site using the folder option as outlined in the documentation under the multiple site configuration. After registering the same admin account with the sub-site, I'm not seeing any of the Administrator icons.
Any ideas on what I did wrong?

It appears when a new sub folder is created to represent a new sub site, the account admin@admin.com with a password of 'admin' is created too. So basically is the same process as setting the initial mojoPortal site
Yes, if you want to use the same users across sub sites you would enable "RelatedSitesMode", otherwise sites are completely independent and each new site is created the same.
