Different default views with Event Calendar Pro

Hi Joe,

I have just started my first mojoPortal project having used DNN for many years. I must say it is a refreshiung change to use something so simple yet so powerful. You have done an outstanding job and I really wish you great success with your product.

I have a requirement to show the same event calendar data on different pages but with different default views. I tried to set this up with Event Calendar Pro in the online demo but whenever the defualt view was changed in one instance it would automatically change it in the other.

Do you have any suggestions on how this could be done?.

Hi Max,

Sorry but there is not currently a way to have different default views of the same content on different pages. The settings for content instances are attached to the content instance and are the same no matter whether the instance is shown on multiple pages, they don't vary by page.

Maybe at some point I'll implement the ability for one calendar to consume the rss feed from another instance, then they could be different instances on different pages with different settings but use the same data.

For now the user can easily choose whatever view they want to see from the view links shown in the instance.
