Installation Problem on medium trust

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Installation Problem on medium trust

I have installed mojo portal on a medium trust server and following the medium trust instructions. The setup said the site was uploaded which can be confirmed here:

http://phoenixmarketing-com.web2.prepropagate.com/setup/default.aspx

 

When I visit http://phoenixmarketing-com.web2.prepropagate.com/  - I have a blank page.

 

Any ideas on what I am missing?

Server is running:

Asp.net 3.5

MSSQL 2005

this is what my setup page says:

This site appears to be running in a secured environment using Medium Trust policy or at least lower than Full Trust.


In order for the Search Engine to work in Medium trust, you need to add this in Web.config in the AppSettings section:

UPDATE.

 

I reinstalled a new version of Mojoportal 2.2.9.5. The site finally loaded, but the styles were not loading correctly.  I had followed the instructions for the medium trust installation by putting the styles in the default folder. I deleted them and looked back at the site and somehow the app is now looking at Data/Sites/1/skins. I think the problem was resolved.
