Anyone recommend a better host that Arvixe? Quite frankly their support sucks

I have sent emails, opened support tickets, tried ttheir support chat and even try calling. Nothing.

I have a latest version mojoportal website that kicks out a 500 error. I tried posting the error here comiplation error 1, but when I try pasting it the form freezes.

Re: Anyone recommend a better host that Arvixe? Quite frankly their support sucks

I have been a mojoPortal user for many years now, well over 10 I think!  I have enjoyed the simplicity and extensity of mojoPortal and built any web sites for friends and myself over the years.  Most of that time I was hosted on Arvixe's servers without a problem.  But now they have fallen on their face and it is time to jump ship.

I had the same issues with Arvixe... 1st they changed servers and didn't do their homework as my sites were off-line for over 2 weeks.  When thy did restore them they worked for a couple of days then they did another patch, or something, and I lost all my child sites... the code was there but they would not execute (load).  After several Chat sessions and putting in support tickets then I got sent to (supposedly) 2nd level... I never herd a word again... multiple emails and more chat sessions didn't resolve anything.

Try checkout Joe's latest suggestion People Host.  I signed up with them and they have been exemplary.  The support that Adam and recently Gregg provides is beyond top notch.  They had me up and my sites running in just a few hours.  I still have the Child site issue, but they had everything else fixed in no time.  They do not stop until they get your issue fixed... then they call you again to make sure it really was fixed!  The only other company to do that is Dell, that I know of!  No-one else gives that sort of caring for their customers.  I only hope that they give Joe the support he deserves for sending me and anyone else to them.

Thanks Joe.

Good luck to everyone...

Joe can't wait for your new project to become available... very cool sounding.
