Purpose of httpdocs/Data/Sites/1/SharedFiles/History folder

Hi there,

What is the purpose of this folder?   Mine is almost 500MB and I need space on the server.  Can I safely empty this folder?

Hi,

Yes, you can safely delete it if you don't mind losing the history of changes to the files. Basically anytime you upload the file again the old copy is kept in history. If you don't want it to do that you can also uncheck the box in "Settings" and then it won't backup the old versions anymore.
