Thank you for the explnation. After thinking about it, it might confuse the 4,500 current members when they go to log in since their accounts wouldn't be synced via Janrain. May of our members are adult are 40+ years old (and often older). I will implement Janrain on DesignerToday when we migrate as never had user registration set up on that website as it was all free access to the articles and tutorials.
If I can figure out a way to utilize Janrain on PW without any resulting confusion I will consider it. This migration was scary enough since Poser World has been online since around 1996 and turned into a membership access website in 1999 and this makes onthe 3rd time we have moved to a different CMS system. Once things settle down, I amy reappraoch Janrain login. So far we've only had a about 10 people that needed assistance with logging in. We even scripted memberships so they have an order history and proper expiration date like they had previously, to ensure minimal confusion.
