Unable to install / unable to load DLL 'sqmapi.dll'

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Unable to install / unable to load DLL 'sqmapi.dll'

Trying to install mojoPortal using Web Platform Installer 4.6 on to a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition w/Service Pack 2 and I cannot seem to get past this point... the installation of mojoPortal fails as Web Platform Installer indicates...

"We're sorry. The following products have failed to install.

mojoPortal

This product did not install successfully: Unable to load DLL 'sqmapi.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)"

Can I download something as an alternative to using the Web Platform Installer perhaps to get around this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you could provide!  : )

sorry but I have no idea sqmapi.dll is not something used or needed by mojoPortal.

win 2003 is getting kind of long in the tooth, you may be better off trying a manual installation, but with win 2003 extensionless urls which are enabled by default are not going to work.
