Colorbox Description Field

Colorbox Description Field

Hi Joe,

I had a quick question regarding how certain fields are used with Colorbox. I notice that when I go into the Image Settings for a particular gallery image, there's a WYSIWYG field for "Description." I've tried populating it, but am not sure what it does. Would you mind explaining it's function, please?

It isn't currently used with colorbox, colorbox is loading the image directly, at some point we may change that to make it load a dialog page with the image and the description but currently is just loads the image directly. Description has been there long before we ever added colorbox. Description is displayed when configured for compact mode which does not use the colorbox. It is also useful because the description is indexed in the site search index.
