All forum RSS feeds are empty

What database platform is your site using?
What version of mojoPortal are you running?
What version of .NET do you use?
What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

OK I'm stuck and I need some help. I've created blogs and forums, both with RSS feeds, the blog feeds are OK but the forum feeds are empty! I've searched the forum & found nothing so I'm guessing it's a setting I'm missing, any advice please would be most welcome?

I've looked/searched the forum, had a look through the site administration documentation, also tried the feeds via feedburner & feed aggregator but with the same results (or lack of).

I reinstalled mojoPortal Version2.3.7.0 and forum & blog feeds are A OK???

Are there any errors being logged that look related? See Administration > System Log in your site

Appreciate you getting back to me.

There where no error in the log. I'll need to re-install 2-3-9-6 first then I'll post up links plus any log items.

I'll get right on it.

Ok, I was able to reproduce this problem on my local machine using SQL CE. When I stepped through the code to see what was happening the view roles for the page was empty string so it was filtering out all posts. I went to page settings for the forum page and under security update so that "All Users" is checked (previously nothing was checked). After that my feed was populated.

See if that is the problem on yours as well.

Ok, I also found an error in the date filtering logic for the forum feed in sql cs that was causing it to filter out newer posts. I've patched the 2.3.9.6 sql ce package. The only updated file is /bin/mojoPortal.Features.Data.dll

So what's your blog problem? I am in Windows 7 and using the latest 2.3.9.6 but found no problem for forum blog....

This problem only affected the sql ce package of mojoPortal 2.3.9.6 and that package has now been patched to fix it. There was no problem with the blog there was a problem only with the rss feed for the forum.
