phone number field on contact form

Hi-

I was wondering if there's a way to add an optional phone number field on the contact form? We'd like to use the existing contact form if possible, rather than use the form wizard pro module.

No there isn't. Form Wizard would be a good option or you could implement your own custom form from scratch.
