Basic Calendar Instance Multiple Pages

Is it possible to have the same calendar on multiple pages?

Is it possible to have the same pro calendar on multiple pages?

If not then how could I use the feed manager to display basic calendar info on multiple pages?

I thought I would see an option under security called "is global" just as an html content feature has.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Basic Calendar Instance Multiple Pages

Hi,

The calendar features (both the basic and pro versions) are dependent upon the page they have been setup on so you can't display them on multiple pages. In mojoPortal, we call the ability to place a single instance of a module on multiple pages "Page Re-Use." The "Is Global" feature is disabled for modules that do not support page re-use.

You can use the feed manager to display the event calendar pro items that are included in the calendars feed on other pages. The Feed Manager supports page re-use. To make this work, follow these steps:

  1. Enable the Outbound Feed on the Event Calendar Pro instance
  2. Add the Feed Manager to a page
  3. Enable the "Use Calendar View" option in the Feed Manager settings
  4. Add the Feed for the Event Calendar Pro instance to the feeds for the Feed Manager

HTH,
Joe D.
