So I've read up the article here: http://www.mojoportal.com/userprofileconfiguration.aspx
I see that in mojoportal.config I can uncomment first and last name, but when I do, I get an error page for the registration page. I'm pretty sure I need to edit the registration page.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need to find out the error detail from Administration > System Log
I'm not getting any error when I uncomment those.

I suck and I think IE 10 is causing part of the problem. I've been testing on multiple browsers, and now it works like a charm. Sorry again.
