Hi,

I just noticed that mojoPortal does not send emails to newly created users when the user is created via Admin/ManageUsers.aspx. I think it would be helpful if the newly created user will receive an email containing their username and password when their account is created for them.

mojo version: 2.3.6.5

Server: windows 2008 r2

IIS 7 on Integrated mode.

Framework Version: 4.0

Steps to reproduce:

- Go to Administration > Add User

- Create new user.

Hi Keith,

I will add it in our project tracker as a to do item to make it optional to send an email when creating users from the admin area. For now you will have to manually email users and notify them of their account if you create them. From my point of view this is a feature request not a bug report.

I'll take this task then in building this feature and I'll submit to you a patch for this issue so it can come on next release.
