Adding text in the page

Hi,

When I write a text in code pages that not in English language , for example in layout.master, the text is not displayed well in a browser. 

It shows me the text in strange shapes like : ×œ×œ×œ×œ×‘× יית אתךי תדמית

I tried several languages ​​and each time he showed me in the browser a different shapes.
