Feed Manager - Show Author not working

Feed Manager - Show Author not working

Hi there,

I think the "Show Author" setting for the for the Feed Manager is not working. The Authors name is shown no matter if this option is checked or unchecked. Tested it on demo.mojoportal.com, same problem.

Might be I misunderstand the setting altogether but I expected the authors name to disappear, when the option is unchecked which it doesn't. Can anybody help me out with some advice?

Hi Lars,

This works correctly in my testing. However it is possible that the feed itself has the author in the feed content, like the mojoPortal Blog allows you to add the signature in the feed and this puts it in the feed body which is not the same as the author setting on the feed.

thanks a lot. You were right, signature was added by the blog module and therefore shown in the feed.
